Distilled. An Executive leadership Experience

Rabbit Hole Distillery

Why Distilled?

Bourbon has to rest to become what it was meant to be—distilled means to extract the essence of something. Bourbon has to go through a distilling process and rests in barrels to become what it was meant to become. Before that process begins the master distiller has a clear vision and purpose for what the spirit will become.

Why Invest Your time?

Leaders need rest and a clear sense of purpose to leave a legacy worth remembering. It’s not enough to simply be “successful”. We need to love life at work and love life at home. To do that … we need rest.

Brian Marsh, CEO and President of Goodwill Arkansas

Leaders need to take the time to invest in themselves, get away from the job, and spend time in the company of like-minded leaders. Distilled allows you to do that with a purpose and the enjoyment of quality spirits. The individuals who were in attendance made it a positive experience. The way that the Insight Team weaved the leadership topics and learnings into the distilling process kept things interesting. My take aways were professional and personal – The need to rest to be the best that I can be is sometimes lost in the course or events of the day/week/month. But I am reminded of the need to do so often when I take time to enjoy a pour of quality bourbon and reflect on why it is not just corn whiskey. I truly enjoyed reconnecting with Michael and the Insight team, and recognized the need to invest in myself along with the need and benefits of resting and allowing time to pass. I also had the opportunity to meet a few good men and even connect with some “in the wild” (outside of the event) and want to do so more often."
