Three Axioms are Now True

Some Great Leadership Nuggets on April 1st!

During an incredible turn of events in 2025, three axioms have now proven to be true.

Fitness: Give 110% (“Don’t stop until you’re jacked”)

A leader in a Fortune 450 organization made his way past the pizza station and all the way to the treadmill. The sign said, “Don’t stop until you’re jacked.” While enjoying the aftertaste of a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese on a sourdough crust, the leader decided this was his moment.

Three hours later the 19-year-old body builder was closing the gym and kicking everyone out. The executive turned in frustration and shared that he is just following the instructions on the wall. Then the body builder apologized for being the reason this man was not going to get fit and let him continue walking at 1.2 miles per hour until he was jacked.

Marriage: One More Vacation Will Fix It

Local leadership powerhouse couple continues to strive for a marriage of their dreams by sharing Instagram and Facebook reels to one another while on separate business trips. A 23-yr old single influencer living in her parent’s basement shared the secret to a healthy marriage is a quality vacation in the Maldives. From her experience in the Maldives with her parent’s credit card, she could vouch that if a marriage was struggling, then one more vacation will fix it.

Leadership: Lean In

A VP of Operations received four HR complaints during the past three months for bullying. The VP vehemently disagreed with the complaints and let HR know he was just telling the truth about the team’s performance. HR and the VP agreed that Millennials grew up receiving trophies for showing up and as a result are too soft for corporate America. The internal L&D team shared an e-learning with the VP entitled, “Lean In”. They were confident that if the leader would simply “lean in”, the abrasive, domineering, and rigid relational approach would be welcomed, and HR complaints would stop.

Perhaps trite statements and clichés are now coming true and solving all the world’s problems. However, Insight Leadership Group still exists for the 3.4% of leaders, teams and organizations still striving to love life at work and love life at home. We exist for the leaders, teams and organizations who didn’t have all their relationships, communication, and management problems solved through trust falls, e-learnings, and canned presentations filled with training videos.

If you are a part of the 3.4 percent. We are here for you!
